Yes! We have full wheelchair accessibility including wider doors and changing rooms as well as a large accessible bathroom with hand rails.

If you’re driving, we recommend heading down the M3 and coming off at the Sydenham Bypass towards the Holywood Road, there is on-street parking out front as well as a free parking lot behind the shop.

The closest train station to us is Sydenham or Lanyon Place.

If you’re flying in from overseas, please get in touch to arrange a complimentary airport pick up service. We’ll be there to meet you at the airport to drive you directly to the shop for your appointment and afterwards we can drive you to anywhere in the Greater Belfast area if required or back to the airport for your return flight.

We are based at 151 Holywood Road in Belfast, BT4 3BE.  Approximately two hours by car from Dublin, and ten minutes by car from Belfast City Centre.

You can pick from our extensive range of plus-size sample wedding dresses ranging from sizes 14 – 40 (UK), we are able to order most of our gowns in sizes 14 – 48 (UK). If you’re concerned about the sizing of a certain sample, please feel free to get in touch.

We are delighted to carry a stunning range of hair accessories, jewellery, veils, fur wraps & shoes to perfectly compliment your gown. You can browse of our online selection here.

Many of our designers offer the option to customise your dress to make it ‘you’. This can be something as simple as adding a sleeve right through to taking the top off one dress and the bottom off of the other!

Your bridal stylist will be able to go through these options with you at your appointment and find your unique style and look to suit you.

Curvy Chic Bridal know that quality and style are most important to a bride on her special day.

So, we have stocked our boutique with gorgeous gowns starting at approximately £795/€933 and up to a little over £3400/€3,991 to suit most budgets. On average our most popular styles range from £1000 – £2000.

We also have a sale room with dresses starting from as low as £99 to suit those on a budget or with a short date.

All of our gowns are made to order, and generally take between 4-6 months for completion. We recommend ordering your gown at least 12 months before your wedding to allow time for shipment and alterations.

If you have a shorter time frame, don’t panic, most of our designers offer a ‘rush’ option for a small fee. You are not buying ‘off the rack’ and that is part of what makes a Curvy Chic Bridal gown so special.

Yes, we always have sale dresses available, these are samples that we no longer require, or at times brand new dresses. With dresses starting from as low as £99 to suit those on a budget or with a short date.

All dresses in the sale room will be clean and in great condition if not perfect. However we do recommend having your dress professionally cleaned your sale dress before alterations if you prefer.

Absolutely! Why not book an appointment with one of our bridal stylists who can help you find the perfect dress for your bridesmaids and talk through all of your options.

For safety reasons and to maintain an environment of relaxation and tranquillity for all brides, no children under the age of twelve are permitted into the shop without prior permission from a staff member.

We recommend you bring the person whose opinion matters to you the most. Whether that be your mum, bridesmaid, best friend or your siblings we have a limit of three guests per bridal appointment.

If you would like to bring more than three guests please let us know and we’ll try our best to accommodate you.

We suggest you wear nude, seamless undergarments. Bring pictures of your favourite Curvy Chic Bridal dresses from our website, as well as pictures of any styles you like are welcome. For your first visit, try to keep an open mind and to try on styles that your consultant may suggest. With our years of experience helping brides look beautiful, sometimes our unexpected  suggestion may end up being ‘the one’.

At Curvy Chic Bridal, we believe the process of choosing your gown should be a fun, relaxed experience. Our team will use their years of experience in helping you to select and try on different styles to create the perfect look for your wedding day, as well as express your personal taste.  If the sample gown you are interested in is not your exact size in the store, you may have to visualise how the dress will look once it is made to your size – try not to dismiss a dress simply because the sample might not fit perfectly. We will endeavour to make the dress look as close to the finished product as we can with the help of inserts and clamps. Remember to focus on style, fabric, colour and details when making your choice.

Please note that appointment fees are non-refundable up to 48 hours before your allotted booking slot.

We are able to customise many of our outfits, from fabric changes to pairing different jackets with different outfits. Our Mother of the bride collections are available in size 14 – 48 (uk) please check the size chart on each outfit to ensure you’re ordering the correct size as formal wear often runs smaller than high street clothing. Alternatively you can visit us in store and we can measure you.
